Allied Health at Peter Mac includes physiotherapy, nutrition and dietetics, occupational therapy, speech pathology and spiritual care.

Patients can be referred to these services by any member of their treating team.

NUTRITION AND DIETETICS

Good nutrition is very important for all patients with cancer, and help from a dietitian specialising in cancer nutrition can provide you with the right advice at the right time.

SPEECH PATHOLOGY

The speech pathology team assess and treat a wide range of speech, swallowing and communication difficulties.

PHYSIOTHERAPY

Physiotherapy and exercise physiology address functional decline before, during and after cancer treatment.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY

Occupational therapists can help you maximise independence, safety, comfort and personal satisfaction and, in doing so, improve your sense of well-being and quality of life.
