You will receive care from a range of experts in surgical oncology, radiation oncology, medical oncology. Your case will be coordinated by specialist melanoma and skin cancer nurses. You have access to a full range of allied health staff, including social workers.Your case will be discussed at a multidisciplinary team meeting, ensuring you receive the best care and treatment plan.The Melanoma and Skin Service runs a variety of research projects and clinical trials. Our philosophy is research-led clinical care to deliver world’s best care to our patients. Please discuss involvement in research with our staff.There have been significant developments in the treatment options for patients with advanced disease Your care will always be delivered under the direct supervision of senior specialist staff.
The three main types of skin cancer are basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and melanoma.

As patients with skin cancer are our priority, we do not routinely offer skin examinations in otherwise well patients. We are very happy to provide a telephone consultative service about the management of patients with Melanoma or Skin Cancer by the patient’s primary care practitioner.
