A cancer screening camp was successfully conducted on 21.12.2025 at Geddesal Village, Thalavadi Taluk, under the leadership of Dr. Velavan, MDRT Sir, along with the dedicated team from Erode Cancer Centre (ECC), in collaboration with Y’s Women’s Club of Sathyamangalam SHEROES.
- More than 100 tribal people participated in the cancer screening program.
- Individuals identified with cancer-related symptoms were referred to Erode Cancer Centre for further diagnosis and treatment.
- Patients were guided for continued care under the Chief Minister’s Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme, ensuring accessible treatment for tribal communities.
This initiative highlights ECC’s continued commitment to early cancer detection, awareness, and inclusive healthcare for underserved populations.
