Erode Cancer Centre (ECC) and Excel Engineering College formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding on 01.09. 2026, establishing academic, technical, research, industrial, and healthcare collaboration between the two institutions. The ceremony was organised by the Department of M.Tech (CSE), Excel Engineering College, and held in the college Board Room.
The partnership is intended to promote experiential learning through internships, industrial visits, research projects, biomedical engineering exposure, hospital administration training, healthcare technology collaboration, community outreach programmes, and other mutually agreed academic activities. Dr. K. Velavan, Managing Director of Erode Cancer Centre, represented ECC, and Dr. K. Bommanna Raja, Principal & Executive Director, along with Dr. N. Mathan Karthick, Vice Chairman & Secretary, represented Excel Group Institutions at the signing.
Mr. S. Rozario, Centre Head, Erode Cancer Centre, was received with a traditional shawl and a memento by the Excel Engineering College team, and both institutions exchanged signed copies of the agreement.
