Erode Cancer Centre celebrated World Cancer Day in a meaningful manner at its hospital premises. The event was organized in collaboration with JKKNMRFs Annai JKK Sampoorani College of Pharmacy, Global Institutions Paramedical College, Sankagiri Vivekananda College of Pharmacy for Women, Tiruchengode Swamy Vivekananda College of Pharmacy for Women, and members of JCI Galaxy Erode.
As part of the celebration, students and JCI Galaxy Erode members distributed fruit bags to patients undergoing treatment at the hospital. More than 50 patients benefited from this complimentary gift, which brought cheer and encouragement to them. The chief guests of the event were Dr. K. Ponshankar, MD., RT., and Dr. Saranya, Clinical Oncologist. Both delivered informative speeches on cancer awareness, emphasizing the importance of early detection, prevention, and timely treatment.
Mr. Rozario, General Manager of Erode Cancer Centre, presided over the event. The celebration successfully created awareness about cancer and highlighted the importance of collective efforts in supporting cancer patients.
